ChargePoint Charging Station

EARN A $500 INCENTIVE

when installing a residential ChargePoint charging station

  • $500 incentive for the installation of a residential vehicle charging station.
    — ChargePoint, WI-FI-enabled station.
    — Wireless internet connectivity.
Guidelines
  • Charging station installation location must be at a single or multi-family residence with wireless internet connectivity.
  • To obtain the incentive, an incentive application must be completed along with the associated proof of purchase or installation of the ChargePoint charging station. Application must contain the serial number tied to the ChargePoint charging station.
  • Incentive applies only to a ChargePoint, Wi-Fi-enabled home charging station.
  • Customer must agree to allow the utility to collect vehicle charging data through on-site Wi-Fi for 36 months. This authorization is provided by signature on the incentive application so ChargePoint, Inc. can release to the utility usage information generated by the installed ChargePoint home charging station.
  • Program is subject to Terms and Conditions outlined on the application.
  • Visit with your electrical utility to discuss your EV and charging needs and pick up an application form.

Pre-Wiring

EARN A $400 INCENTIVE

on pre-wiring for the installation of a residential vehicle charging station

  • $400 incentive for new construction for in-home pre-wiring for the installation of an electric vehicle charging station.
    — OR —
  • 100% of the cost (maximum of $600) for existing structures for in-home pre-wiring for the installation of an electric vehicle charging station.
Guidelines
  • Pre-wiring installation location must be a single or multi-family residence.
  • To obtain the incentive, all steps on the application must be completed and submitted to the utility along with installation verification, including the charging station’s serial number
  • Install NM cable for 32-amps (minimum) continuous load per the National Electrical Code (NEC) or appropriate size conduit per NEC, from the load center to a NEMA 6-50 or 14-50 receptacle.
  • Program is subject to the Terms and Conditions as outlined on the application.
  • Visit with your electrical utility to discuss your EV and charging needs and pick up an application form.
